Alani Bankhead is a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and former federal supervisory special agent. Over two decades she hunted terrorists and foreign spies, and in Hawaii led the largest anti-child-exploitation operations in the Pacific, recovering more than 35 child victims. She is the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Montana.

Alani Bankhead is a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and former federal supervisory special agent. For two decades, in uniform and out, her work took her after the people most of us would rather not think about: terrorists, foreign spies, and the predators who hunt children.
She ran human-intelligence operations against Al Qaeda in Iraq, arrested child predators in Japan, commanded a unit in Kuwait, and served as senior bodyguard to one of the most senior officials at the Pentagon.
In Hawaii she created and led the largest anti-child-exploitation cyber operations in the Pacific, uniting federal, state, local, and military agencies. The work produced nearly 100 arrests of child sex abusers, the recovery of more than 35 child victims, and a 96 percent conviction or plea rate.
She is the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Montana.
